After a 12-person jury found Donald Trump guilty of 34 felony counts in his hush-money trial, crypto’s $65 billion memecoin went haywire.

Joke coins linked to Trump soared, while many tokens like Jeo Boden, worth nearly $200 million, plummeted.

Crypto pundits took to X to celebrate or decry the ruling against Trump.

Anthony Scaramucci, founder of crypto-centric investment firm Skybridge and one-time White House director of communications under Trump, wrote simply:

“Trump will never be president again.”

Others, like Ryan Selkis, founder of analytics platform Messari, retweeted just about every critic of the verdict on the internet.
